The Keep Pounding Fund honors members of the Panthers family who have been impacted by cancer. The spirit of Keep Pounding encourages cancer patients and survivors and their loved ones to always "Keep Pounding" to overcome obstacles in their lives, just as we hope that someday a cure will be found and cancer will be overcome.
The on-going mission of Keep Pounding is to raise vital funds for important cancer research programs for the Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children's Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center. Since its inception in 2003 by the Carolina Panthers and Carolinas HealthCare Foundation, more than $1.4 million has been generated for the Keep Pounding Fund.
Panthers fans throughout the Carolinas have supported the initiative in a variety of ways. Contributions are generated through team fundraisers, the assistance of team partners and valued donations from community organizations and individuals.
Fans can visit the Keep Pounding Auction sites and bid on Panthers memorabilia. All auction proceeds benefit the Keep Pounding Fund. Individuals and organizations interested in contributing to the fund directly may do so by contacting Carolinas Healthcare Foundation.
