The Carolina Panthers work with schools across the two-state region to promote the personal growth of students and enrich their academic experiences through a variety of programs.

EDUCATION PROGRAMS

  • Carolina Panthers Scholarship

    The Panthers award two $10,000 scholarships each year to outstanding student-athletes who have completed their undergraduate work and are seeking support for their graduate level studies.

  • Sam Mills Memorial Scholarship

    Panthers players award two $5,100 scholarships each year to outstanding high school senior student-athletes who are seeking support for their undergraduate college level studies.

  • Character Education

    The Character Education program emphasizes nine different character traits and encourages students in grades K-12 to become model students and citizens through their actions.

  • Classroom Central

    Classroom Central is a store where area teachers who serve economically-challenged schools can obtain school supplies free for their students.

  • ESL Flag Football Curriculum

    The Language of Football program helps ESL students enhance their knowledge of language development and literacy while promoting physical fitness through flag football.

  • Numbers Crunch

    Numbers Crunch is a math competition for high schools in North and South Carolina that uses football variables to challenge mathletes in physics, geometry and other problem-solving disciplines.

  • Read Across America

    Panthers players, Sir Purr and TopCats celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday each year by reading and promoting literacy at a local elementary school.

  • Sack the EOG’s/PASS with Purr

    Sir Purr visits schools in the Carolinas each spring and helps students prepare for the End of Grade tests in North Carolina and Palmetto Assessment of State Standards tests in South Carolina.
