SAM BRADFORD
6-foot-4 - 236 pounds - Oklahoma

The most vital line on Bradford's resume is not the 2008 Heisman Trophy he earned, but the surgical reconstruction of his throwing shoulder that he underwent last year ... First injured the shoulder in the 2009 season opener against Brigham Young, then re-injured it when he returned against Texas. "I think if I wouldn't have tried to come back, there's no way I could have lived with that decision,' Bradford said at the Combine. "Everyone I talked to at the time said that I could come back and play. No one thought I needed surgery after the first injury. So I don't think I made the wrong decision at all with that." ... Was throwing at full strength at his Pro Day workout on March 29 ... His numbers prior to the shoulder problems were impressive; he completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 8,403 yards and threw 88 touchdowns against 16 interceptions. If calculated by the NFL's formula, his college quarterback rating would have been 123.0.

LEVI BROWN
6-foot-3 - 229 pounds - Troy

Started two seasons for Troy after transferring from Richmond ... Had a 38-to-12 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his two seasons as the Trojans' starting quarterback ... More than doubled his passing yardage total from 2,030 in 2008 to 4,254 in 2009 ... Also increased his completion percentage (from 61.7 to 63.7) and his average per attempt (from 6.2 yards to 8.4) ... Was the Sun Belt Conference's Player of the Year as a senior.

JARRETT BROWN
6-foot-3 - 224 pounds - West Virginia

Backed up Pat White, now of the Miami Dolphins, until becoming the Mountaineers' starter as a senior ... His 2,144 yards through the air were the most for a WVU quarterback this century ... Threw for 11 touchdowns and ran for six more, while tossing nine interceptions ... Had the fastest 40-yard dash time among Combine quarterbacks (4.54 seconds).

SEAN CANFIELD
6-foot-4 - 223 pounds - Oregon State

Had his best season as a senior, posting a 21-to-7 touchdown-to-interception ratio and completing a career-best 67.9 percent of his 446 passes while earning first-team All-Pac 10 honors ... Backed up current Panthers first-teamer Matt Moore as a freshman in 2006 ... Throws with his left arm, but writes with his right hand. "Anything to do with a throwing motion is left. And then I write with my right hand, eat with my right, I golf right, I kick right-footed. So I’m pretty weird," Canfield acknowledged at the Combine ... Learned from Moore, who returned to Corvallis, Ore. to work out during the winter months. "Working out is working out, but it's a mental thing; you see guys come back from the NFL and see the way they act; they're doing the same stuff you're doing, and you realize that they're just people," Canfield said.

JIMMY CLAUSEN
6-foot-3 - 222 pounds - Notre Dame

Full-time starter the last two seasons in the Fighting Irish's pro-style offense who improved in every statistical measurement from 2008 to 2009 -- most notably his touchdown-to-interception ratio, which went from 25-to-17 to 28-to-4 ... Played through a painful toe injury last season. "From playing on the two torn tendons, my sesamoid bones in my toe retracted about one centimeter," Clausen said at the Combine. "So Dr. Mark Myerson out of Baltimore had to reattach the tendons and put two pins in there to hold those tendons and he also had to move those sesamoid bones back up." ... Turned pro with one year of eligibility remaining ... Deflects criticism of his leadership qualities. "To be honest, some of the people that say those things just don't know me as a person," Clausen said.

ARMANTI EDWARDS
5-foot-11 - 187 pounds - Appalachian State

Led Appalachian State to its signature win over Michigan in 2007 and the FCS national championship that same year ... Did not run the 40 at the Combine because of a hamstring injury, but clocked times of 4.41 and 4.44 seconds at his March Pro Day ... Has worked out as both a quarterback and a wide receiver, but wasn't sure where he'd eventually stay. "I asked a couple of teams that. They told me they don’t know where to put me," he said at the Combine. "It just depends on how well I do at the quarterback position."

DAN LeFEVOUR
6-foot-3 - 230 pounds - Central Michigan

Posted prodigious numbers at Central Michigan, starting the last four seasons and becoming the nation's most statistically productive dual-threat quarterback in that span ... Accounted for 151 touchdowns the last four years -- 104 on passes and 47 on the ground ... Had a career-best 46 total touchdowns (27 passing, 19 running) during a 2007 sophomore season in which he became the second quarterback in FBS/Division I-A history to rush for 1,000 yards and pass for 3,000 in the same season (Vince Young is the other) ... In spite of all those numbers, the question revolving around him at the Combine was whether he could work under center after playing in a spread offense at Central Michigan. "It's different. It's not a problem; it's just a challenge," LeFevour said. "The more I've worked on it, the easier it’s gotten for me. Going to the Senior Bowl was a great experience, getting under center and 11-on-11, you can’t really replicate that. That was a great experience for me, doing everything up to the draft and going through minicamps and things like that, I'll only get better with that."... Had the second-best 40 time among Combine quarterbacks (4.66 seconds).

THADDEUS LEWIS
6-feet - 215 pounds - Duke

Lewis is arguably the biggest individual beneficiary of David Cutcliffe's installation as Duke's head coach. After completing 54.1 percent of his passes and posting a 32-to-26 touchdown-to-interception ratio his first two years, he improved under Cutcliffe's watch to 61.5 percent and a 35-to-14 ratio ... Cutcliffe coached both of the quarterbacking Manning brothers in college and that connection allowed Lewis to pick their brains for insights. "It was all football talk, (about) some of the things they do, even still to this day," Lewis said. "I know Peyton works on (his) three- and five-step drops and he’s a 12-year veteran. So you never get consistent unless you (work). There’s always room for improvement."

COLT McCOY
6-foot-1 - 216 pounds - Texas

Suffered an injury in the BCS national championship game in January but was able to throw by his Pro Day in late March. "I just had a nerve injury in my deltoid. It’s not even actually my shoulder. And it's just a weird injury -- hard to describe, hard to explain," McCoy said at the Combine. "The only thing I can say is (that) there was no pain; there was never pain involved in the whole situation. It was just completely dead. My arm was dead; my fingers were dead; I couldn’t grip anything; I really couldn’t throw anything at all to raise up my arm." ... Before the injury, McCoy was a four-year starter he threw for 13,253 yards and 112 touchdowns against 45 interceptions ... Also ran for 20 touchdowns, but took 92 sacks, including 30 as a senior, for an average of one sack every 16.7 pass plays.

TONY PIKE
6-foot-6 - 223 pounds - Cincinnati

Led Cincinnati to consecutive Big East championships in 2008 and 2009, throwing 48 touchdowns against 17 interceptions in those two years out of a spread offense. As a result, lining up under center could be perceived as a concern. "It’s a lot different, just in the fact that you’re in the shotgun all the time," Pike said at the Combine. "But as far as reads, progressions, blitz-pickups, all that is really pretty much universal, from what I’ve seen up here in talking to other teams." ... Unlike several other prospects at his position, Pike chose to work out at the Combine. "Thirty-two teams out there -- as a quarterback you want to throw," he said.

ZAC ROBINSON
6-foot-2 - 214 pounds - Oklahoma State

Threw for 3,064 yards and 25 scores as a junior, but fell back to 2,084 yards and 15 touchdowns against 12 interceptions as a senior ... In spite of playing in the spread throughout his time with the Cowboys, looked comfortable working under center and dropping back during Senior Bowl week. "I think they were surprised at how fluid my dropbacks were and the ability to read defenses from under center," Robinson said ... Suffered a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder last season but was throwing by the Senior Bowl and said there were "no problems" with it at the Combine.

JOHN SKELTON
6-foot-5 - 243 pounds - Fordham

Became a starter at Fordham in his freshman season and concluded his four years there with scads of school records, including total offense, touchdown passes, completions and passing yards ... Earned an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game after throwing 26 touchdowns against 10 interceptions as a senior ... Had eight 300-yard games last season.

RILEY SKINNER
6-feet - 214 pounds - Wake Forest

A four-year starter who in 2006 led Wake Forest to its first ACC championship since 1970 and an Orange Bowl appearance ... Finished his college years with a 59-to-37 touchdown-to-interception ratio, including 25-to-12 as a senior ... Completed at least 63.9 percent of his passes in each season with the Demon Deacons, including a career-best 72.4 as a sophomore in 2007.

JEVAN SNEAD
6-foot-3 - 219 pounds - Mississippi

When Mississippi started the 2009 season in the nations top 10, expectations there rose to their highest level in a generation before quickly being doused. While the Rebels ultimately rallied to win nine games, Snead struggled, throwing as many interceptions as touchdowns (20 apiece). He had at least three interceptions in four of his last 10 games -- a stark contrast to a 2008 season in which he threw twice as many touchdowns as interceptions (26-to-13). "As a quarterback, I take responsibility for that," Snead said at the Combine. "I'm not going to place the blame on anybody. It's one of those things I've been going back and looking at. I've been going back and watching film, seeing some stuff that I could have done better."

TIM TEBOW
6-foot-3 - 236 pounds - Florida

The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner won't top the draft class, but perhaps no prospect in recent memory has been the subject of more public debate in the months leading up to the draft. Is he a quarterback? Is he a fullback or tight end? Or is he some hybrid of the three who might play more of the latter two positions early in his career while learning how to be an NFL passer? ... Is the only quarterback in Division I annals to throw at least 30 touchdown passes and run for at least 20 scores in the same season (2008) ... Responsible for 145 touchdowns -- 88 passing and 57 rushing ... Has spent time working on his throwing motion in recent months, but said his release point remains the same as before. "It’s more like a tweak; it’s not necessarily changing my whole motion, just the way I’m holding the ball and kind of how I’m getting to where I’m throwing it," he said at the Combine. "That’s kind of the biggest problem we’ve seen, so that’s what we’re working on the most."
