Week 14 Inactives: Christian McCaffrey officially ruled out for Denver matchup

CHARLOTTE – As expected, running back Christian McCaffrey will not face his hometown team Sunday. McCaffrey, who tweaked a thigh injury in Wednesday's practice, is inactive for the Panthers' home matchup with the Broncos.

Mike Davis will get another start with McCaffrey missing his 10th game of the season.

Elsewhere on the offense, linemen Dennis Daley and Greg Little will sit out for a second straight game. Daley is still in the concussion protocol and Little is apparently a healthy scratch again.

Defensively, end Marquis Haynes is inactive after missing the entire week of practice with an illness. Safety Tre Boston, who didn't practice Friday with a sore hamstring, is active.
