What to know for Duke's Mayo Classic matchups


CHARLOTTE - It's a jam-packed weekend of college football in the city of Charlotte and Bank of America Stadium will be at the heart of it.

As part of the Duke's Mayo Classic, Appalachian State hosts ECU on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU, followed by No. 3 Clemson playing No. 5 Georgia on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

Tickets for ASU-ECU are available here, while Clemson-Georgia is officially sold out.

The two games in the stadium aren't the only events happening in Charlotte this weekend.

Duke's Mayo Classic is hosting Fan Fests outside the stadium on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ESPN's College Game Day is going to be live from Romare Bearden Park on Saturday morning. There is also a free country concert, featuring Ingrid Andress, on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. outside the stadium.
