Injury Report: Ryan Kalil questionable

CHARLOTTE - Center Ryan Kalil, who didn't practice at all this week because of an ankle injury, is listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football against the Steelers and will be a "game day decision" according to head coach Ron Rivera.

Tyler Larsen, who started 10 games in Kalil's spot last season, would start if Kalil isn't able to play.

Rivera said he's more confident in the availability of the three other players are listed as questionable - defensive end Mario Addison, safety Eric Reid and linebacker David Mayo. All three practiced in some part of Wednesday's session before the Panthers headed to the airport bound for Pittsburgh.

Wide receiver Torrey Smith will be out for the third consecutive game with a knee injury. Rookie defensive end Marquis Haynes, who has appeared in one game this season, also is out after missing practice Wednesday with an illness.
