CHARLOTTE - The Panthers have placed rookie running back Jordan Scarlett (knee/ankle) on injured reserve, the team announced Friday. Scarlett suffered an injury at New Orleans last Sunday and did not return to the game. The team also signed offensive lineman Brad Lundblade to the active roster.

Drafted in the fifth round out of Florida last spring, Scarlett played in nine games in 2019, primarily on special teams. In the team's win over Tampa Bay in London, he recovered a fumble on punt coverage. He also had four carries for nine yards on offense.

Undrafted out of Oklahoma State, Lundblade spent the 2018 season as a member of Cincinnati's practice squad. He joined Carolina's practice squad in 2019 after preseason cuts and is now on a 53-man roster for the first time.
