CHARLOTTE – The Panthers have traded wide receiver Fozzy Whittaker to the Bills, receiving a third-round and seventh-round draft choice in the 2018 NFL Draft in exchange.

Benjamin, selected 28th overall in the 2014 draft, leads the Panthers with 475 receiving yards. He has 32 catches, two of them resulting in touchdowns.

Benjamin burst onto the scene as a rookie with 1,008 receiving yards and appeared on his way to even bigger things before a knee injury suffered during training camp sidelined him for all of Carolina's run to the Super Bowl in 2015.

He was solid last season, finishing the year with 63 catches for 941 yards, and he was on a similar pace this season. Benjamin caught three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's victory at Tampa Bay.
