Tyler Boyles is in his first season with the Carolina Panthers as offensive quality control coach/assistant to the head coach after spending the previous three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. With the Colts, Boyles served as the assistant to the head coach for two seasons (2020-21) and most recently served as the manager of coaching operations in 2022.

Boyles spent five years at Middle Tennessee State as the school's offensive quality control coach (2017-19) and as a graduate assistant (2015-16). Prior to that, Boyles was the quarterbacks coach and director of football operations at LaGrange (Ga.) College in 2014 and began his coaching career in 2013 as an offense/football operations intern at Eastern Kentucky.

He graduated from Shawnee State in Ohio with a bachelor's degree in mathematical science where he played guard on the basketball team. He was a three-time Academic All-Conference choice and voted team captain for two years. Boyles earned his master's degrees from Eastern Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State.
