Panthers host Football Moms' Safety Clinic

CHARLOTTE - Head coach Ron Rivera, his wife Stephanie and four Panthers players were among those who recently hosted a Football Moms' Safety Clinic at Bank of America Stadium.

About 100 mothers of children either playing football or interested in playing football learned about concussion prevention and treatment, safety measures related to heat and hydration and the importance of proper equipment fitting. They then hit the practice field to learn hands-on about USA Football's Heads Up tackling techniques.

They were joined on the field by tight end Richie Brockel, offensive tackle David Foucault, wide receiver De'Andre Presley and tight end Brandon Williams.
