CHARLOTTE – The Panthers have agreed to terms with five college free agents following the 2017 NFL Draft. Carolina also waived cornerback Tyler Patmon.

These agreements will not become official until each player signs his contract upon reporting to the team's rookie minicamp May 5-6.

Cox is the son of former NFL linebacker Bryan Cox, who was the defensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons from 2014-16. He recorded 98 career tackles and 9.5 sacks.

Duke finished his career with 253 receptions for 3,437 yards and 24 receiving touchdowns for the 49ers.
