Under Stukes' watch, three teams have posted a season in they've recorded the NFL's second-highest field goal percentage. The Rams (94.1% in 2021), Giants (94.5% in 2016) and Buccaneers (92.8% in 2011) all finished their respective seasons ranked second in field goal percentage.

In 2021, Stukes helped coach a special teams unit in Los Angeles that ranked fifth in punt return average (11.3) and punt return average against (6.7). Additionally, the Rams ranked second in field goal percentage (94.1%), with kicker Matt Gay making 32-of-34 field goal attempts enroute to a Pro Bowl selection. In the postseason, wide receiver Brandon Powell led all players in punt return yards (104) and ranked fourth in kickoff return yards (88), the only player to accumulate at least 75 punt and kickoff return yards in the postseason.

A defensive assistant for Jacksonville (2019-20), Stukes was part of a defensive coaching staff in 2019 that helped defensive end Calais Campbell and cornerback Jalen Ramsey earn Pro Bowl nods.

Stukes was the assistant special teams coach for Giants (2016-17). In 2016, the Giants collected the league's second-best field goal percentage (95.5%) and ranked seventh in kickoff return average (23.8). In 2015, kicker Josh Brown was selected to the Pro Bowl after connecting on 93.8% of his field goal attempts.

During Stukes' two seasons in Chicago (2013-14) as assistant special teams coach, the Bears special teams unit led the league in kickoff return average against in both seasons, allowing just 18.8 kickoff return yards in 2013 and 17.5 in 2014. The team also ranked second in punt return average (14.2) and sixth in punt return average against (7.4) in 2013.

Before joining the Giants and Bears, Stukes spent the 2012 season with Dallas, participating in the team's minority coaching program.

Stukes began his coaching career with Tampa Bay as a coaching assistant, spending two years in the role (2006-07), before becoming the special teams quality control coach (2008), assistant defensive backs coach (2009-10) and special teams coordinator (2011).

An undrafted free agent, Stukes spent time in training camp with Atlanta and Pittsburgh, on the Tampa Bay practice squad and played in NFL Europe (Berlin Thunder; 2001-02) and the Arena Football League (Colorado Crush; 2004) following a college career at Virginia.

Stukes is married to wife, Lori, and has two daughters, Jade and Skylar, and one son, Myka.
