EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.— Panthers' quarterback Bryce Young went to the locker room with an ankle injury in the third quarter in Sunday's game with the New York Jets. He walked off the field with trainers and initially his return was questionable. In the fourth-quarter, he was downgraded to out.
Young had been sacked on the last play of the Panthers' offensive possession before leaving the field. Andy Dalton entered the game for the Panthers' at QB on the subsequent offensive drive.
At the time of his exit, Young had gone 15-25 for 138 yards and one touchdown, as well as two rushes for 10 yards, and the Panthers were up 13-3.
