CHARLOTTE — Bryce Young's name has been floating all the wind throughout the sports world on Monday. The Panthers quarterback received his flowers for the Panthers 31-28 win over the Los Angeles Rams from the moment sports talk shows began Monday morning, and continued to be the topic of conversation all the way up till the moment before kickoff on Monday Night Football.

At that point, the Monday Night Countdown crew officially dubbed Young as "Him" when he was awarded the weekly "Himmy" award.

The award is a fan-vote and given out by Scott Van Pelt, host of SVP and Monday Night Countdown. Each week, Van Pelt will send the winner a trophy, commemorating their performance that week that made them "Him."

The Panthers quarterback won over Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, Packers QB Jordan Love, and Bucs OL Tristan Wirfs.

Young had his "Himmy" performance after going 15-of-20 for 206 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and a career-high 147.1 passer rating in the Panthers win over the top-seeded Rams on Sunday. He led his 11th career game-winning drive. Young, at 24 years, 128 days old, surpassed Josh Allen (24 years, 164 days old) as the youngest quarterback in NFL history with 11 game-winning drives.

"I mean, Bryce is as cool as it gets, especially in those moments he kind of makes everyone else calm, but we've seen those moments throughout the season," Chuba Hubbard said. "Coaches believe in us. We believe in, believe in ourselves as well, in each other. So I think we're just expecting, expecting to to convert.

"I mean, he's just cool. He's not pressing. He's not like worried. He's just like, I don't even know. He's just cool, cool as hell."

Rico Dowdle was nominated for a "Himmy" earlier this season, and Andy Dalton won after the Panthers' Week 3 win against the Raiders last season.

Young has already been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week and fans can vote for the quarterback here.
