CHARLOTTE — It's the time of year for traditions.
The Panthers are going with the time-honored black jerseys and silver pants Sunday against the Rams.

It's the second-most-worn combination in franchise history behind the white-on-white, and what they generally go with at home once the weather cools. (The team actually wore this combination with blue socks during the inaugural season in 1995, before switching to black socks in 1996.)
The last time they wore this combination was last November against the Saints, a 23-22 win.

Chuba Hubbard scored two touchdowns, including the game-winner that afternoon, and Mike Jackson had a key fourth-down pass breakup late to seal it.
Adjust your wardrobes for the weekend accordingly.
