Panthers waive defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy

RosterMove

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers made room for Wednesday's two waiver claims by parting ways with a recent draft pick.

The team waived defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy on Wednesday prior to practice.

Crumedy, the team's sixth-round pick a year ago, was one of six defensive linemen they kept in the cut to the initial 53.

The team claimed cornerback Damarri Mathis from the Broncos and wide receiver Dalevon Campbell from the Chargers.

They had one spot open after wide receiver Adam Thielen was traded to Minnesota earlier in the day.
