March is National Athletic Training Month

In March, we recognize the people who take care of the people. In honor of National Athletic Training Month, we take a look at the Panthers' athletic training staff led by vice president of player health and performance Denny Kellington.

The staff includes associate athletic trainer Katy Rogers, lead medical return to performance/staff athletic trainer Harrison Grube, assistant athletic trainer Karen Ocwieja, physical therapist/athletic trainer and performance analyst Corey Rodrigo, and physical therapist Kylan Smith, along with their interns.

The Carolina Panthers, in partnership with The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation and Samaritan's Feet, hosted a high-energy shoe distribution event today for students at David Cox Elementary School. Panthers personalities and volunteers, including Nicole Tepper, RB Jonathon Brooks, C Nick Samac, Samaritan's Feet employees and Panthers PSL Owners were on-site to help distribute new sneakers to every student at the school. As part of the Panthers and Atrium Health's Play60 initiative, this effort encourages students to build healthy habits and stay active for at least 60 minutes every day.

The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation, Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC were proud to support the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation at their annual luncheon on March 24, 2026. Panthers Head Coach Dave Canales, Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Luke Kuechly and Panthers Legend Mike Rucker participated in a panel discussion that focused on leadership and the importance of building culture in front of more than 1,800 attendees including city officials, local officers and community leaders.

Nicole Tepper delivered the keynote address at the Judy W. Rose Let Me Play Luncheon, where she was joined by David Tepper as UNC Charlotte announced The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation's $250,000 commitment to the Let Me Play initiative. The gift will help enhance the daily experience of women student-athletes by strengthening women's programs and elevating the visibility of women's athletics at the university.
