On Tuesday, the Panthers visited several local non-profit agencies to surprise them with grant-funding gifts from Carolina Panthers Charities. The team awarded community grants to 65 non-profit agencies across North and South Carolina as part of the 2022 grant cycle.
Wellcare Flag Football Clinic

In partnership with Wellcare, the Carolina Panthers hosted an NFL FLAG Football Clinic at Wofford College for children from the Greater Spartanburg area. The day included a clinic lead by members from the Panthers organization and NFL FLAG. The participants received lunch and closed out the day by watching the Carolina Panthers take part in practice at training camp.

Players Tommy Tremble and Brandon Zylstra alongside owners David and Nicole Tepper participated in the Best Buddies NC Friendship Walk on April 30th at Charlotte's Symphony Park. The event raised funds for programs that support inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Panthers hosted the inaugural Girls High School Flag Football Jamboree on Saturday, Oct. 30. Five local high schools – Charlotte Catholic, Hough, Nation Ford, Northwestern and South Pointe – competed in a tournament format in an event designed to provide female student-athletes with high levels of competition in this fast-growing sport.

The Panthers Challenger Flag Football League, which serves children and young adults with disabilities, celebrated its 17th season with an end-of-year jamboree event. The team thanks this year's program partners: Greensboro Parks and Recreation, Greenville Recreation and Parks, Goldsboro Parks and Recreation, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, Kernersville Recreation and Parks Department, City of High Point Parks and Recreation, Durham Parks and Recreation, Henderson-Vance County Recreation and Parks, and Richland County Recreation Commission.

The Carolina Panthers Big Friday High School Football series continued its 2021 program at American Legion Memorial Stadium as the Providence Panthers hosted the defending state champion Charlotte Catholic Cougars in a game won by the Cougars 21-14. Charlotte Catholic's student section received a $2500 grant for the school from Panthers Charities by being named the "Student Section of the Game."

Nicole Tepper and the Carolina Panthers helped celebrate the grand opening of Miracle Park in Rock Hill, S.C. A unique, specially-designed park that serves recreation and sports participation opportunities for children with special needs, the park includes adaptive recreation ballfields, unique adaptive playgrounds and other amenities. The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation and Carolina Panthers Charities provided grant funding to assist in the development of the one-of-a-kind project.
