Café Con Canales
To celebrate Latino Heritage Month, Panthers head coach Dave Canales has teamed up with local Latino Café owners for a web series that pays tribute to his heritage and love of coffee. In each episode of Café Con Canales, Coach Canales invites local Latino Café owners to Bank of America Stadium for a conversation about coffee, culture and the Charlotte Latino community. New episodes featuring Sumaq Coffee, Caffeto Specialty Coffee and Manolo's Bakery.

In the Community
The Carolina Panthers and Head Coach Dave Canales are proud to support the YMCA of Greater Charlotte by increasing access and opportunities for Latino youth and their families to participate in the fast-growing sport of flag football. In celebration of Latino Heritage Month, the Carolina Panthers and YMCA of Greater Charlotte partnered to provide scholarships for Latino flag football players for the Fall 2025 flag football season.
Coach Canales and Sir Purr surprised the youth players with new cleats during a special experience on the field at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers will also be taking over Newell Elementary School's carpool line on Sept. 30 as Panthers players, TopCats and Sir Purr welcome students to school in style.

NFL Latino Youth Honors
The Carolina Panthers selected Fernando Zelaya of Olympic High School and Leticia Ortiz of Palisades High School, both senior tackle and flag football players, to be representatives for the NFL Latino Youth Honors Program. Every year, each NFL team nominates two exemplary student-athletes to be considered for college grant funding and a trip to Super Bowl LX to participate in a variety of special events. Last year, Carolina Panthers nominee Lucas Carranza, a senior football player at Olympic High School, was named a finalist for the NFL Latino Youth Honors.
