CHARLOTTE – Three former Panthers will announce the arrival of new Panthers at the 2018 NFL Draft. Offensive tackle Jordan Gross and punter Jason Baker will do the honors at the Cowboys' home stadium on the second day of the draft April 27, and cornerback Dante Wesley will announce Carolina's final choices the next day.

The draft kicks off with the first round on April 26 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the Panthers holding the 24th pick. The next night, Gross will step to the podium and announce the second-round selection (No. 55) before Baker announces a pair of third-round selections (Nos. 85 and 88). Wesley will wrap things up the next day by announcing Carolina's seventh-rounders (Nos. 234 and 242).

Gross, who heard his name called as Carolina's first-round choice in 2003 – at No. 8 overall – was a three-time Pro Bowler before retiring in 2013 following 11 standout seasons. Baker, undrafted in 2001, kicked for five teams before coming to Carolina in 2005, where he served as punter until he retired following the 2012 season. Wesley, a fourth-round pick by the Panthers in 2002, often paired with Baker on special teams and played seven of his nine NFL seasons in Carolina over two stints.
