Beyond the numbers: Carolina held strong at 15 week over week according to ESPN. As impressive as the Panthers' defense has been when it comes to getting sacks and forcing turnovers, ESPN's David Newton points out that the D is giving up an average of 25.5 points per game, ranking 21st in the league.

Beyond the numbers: Again, the Panthers stayed put at 15th in the NFL's rankings this week. Dan Hanzus said that running back Christian McCaffrey's performance on Sunday "should return him near the top of any MVP conversation," and pointed out that CMC is on pace to deliver the greatest fantasy season of all time.

Beyond the numbers: The Panthers climbed one spot following the victory over the Titans, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Florio said that if the Panthers can take down the Packers this weekend at Lambeau Field, it would go a long way in helping them make the playoffs.
