North Carolina is now the 22nd state to sanction girls flag football as a varsity sport. Flag football is slated to make its Olympic debut in 2028 at the Los Angeles Summer Games. To celebrate this milestone and amplify the sport's momentum, the Panthers released a new digital spot highlighting the generational impact of girls flag football. The spot features NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan and Panthers Legend Greg Olsen, with a voiceover from women's sports icon Dawn Staley.

In recognition of a $5 million gift from The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation (DNTF), the University of South Carolina proudly announced the naming of its renowned Department of Sports and Entertainment Management as the David and Nicole Tepper Department of Sports and Entertainment Management. The gift – which builds upon the Teppers' longstanding commitment to the University – will sustain the ongoing Tepper Scholars program in perpetuity and establish the Tepper Professors of Practice, an initiative designed to support and attract faculty focused on leadership and the business of professional sports.

See prep players from the Carolinas competing at the Carolina Panthers Nike 11-On High School Passing Tournament held at Bank of America Stadium. Participating teams included the Providence Day Chargers, Gaffney Indians, Irmo Yellowjackets and South Pointe Stallions. Teams participated in a 7-on-7 competition as well as other events including the fastest man, medicine ball throw, and team tug-of war championship. Providence Day emerged victorious for the fourth-consecutive year.

The Carolina Panthers, Bank of America, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools encouraged 3^rd grader students from seventy CMS elementary schools as part of the team's Sir Purr's Pawsome Readers Program. The semester-long program encourages young readers to improve literacy rates and reach grade-level reading proficiency through reading incentives in the classroom and year-end measurements of reading scores.
