NFL announces prospects that will take part in 2021 Draft in Cleveland

CHARLOTTE - On Friday morning, the NFL announced the names of prospects that will be on-hand in Cleveland to participate in the 2021 Draft next week.

With COVID protocols still in place, 13 prospects will physically be at the stage setup in downtown Cleveland, while an additional 45 prospects will participate virtually.

The in-person prospects include:

DT Christian Barmore, Alabama
WR Ja'Marr Chase, LSU
CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech
QB Mac Jones, Alabama
QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State
LB Micah Parson, Penn State
TE Kyle Pitts, Florida
DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami (Fla.)
T Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
WR DeVonta Smith, Alabama
CB Patrick Surtain II, Alabama
WR Jaylen Waddle, Alabama
QB Zach Wilson, Alabama

Many of the rest of the early round prospects are confirmed to participate virtually in the Draft. Those names include QB Justin Fields (Ohio State), QB Trevor Lawrence (Clemson) and T Penei Sewell (Oregon).

The NFL Draft will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 29.

Panthers fans can also tune in to the team's live Draft Lounge, presented by Bud Light. With hosts Thomas Davis, Jonathan Stewart and Kristen Balboni, the show will stream live on the Panthers website and app all night and feature live Draft analysis, fun giveaways and exclusive reaction from Panthers decision-makers.
