Panthers to wear blue uniforms in Dallas on Sunday

CHARLOTTE - It's time to break out the blues.

The Panthers will wear blue jerseys for the first time in the 2021 regular season in Sunday's game at Dallas.

UPDATE: The Panthers will be wearing blue tops and black pants on Sunday. Carolina is 1-1 all-time in the regular season in that combo, wearing it against Tampa Bay in 2019 and the Chargers in 2020.

Carolina is 20-18 in blue jerseys since the option was first introduced in 2002.

One of the more notable wins came in Dallas in 2015 on Thanksgiving Day. That day, Carolina wore blue tops and blue pants in a color rush look.

Carolina wore blue jerseys in the preseason at Indianapolis. They will wear them again at Miami in Week 12.
