Panthers trade down again in second round, trade with Cleveland

BROWNSTwitter

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers moved down again.

After trading back 13 spots in the second round with the Bears, they turned around and made another deal to pick up another third rounder.

They gave the 52nd overall pick to the Browns, along with the 113th overall pick, in exchange for the 59th and 89th overall picks.

That gives the Panthers a second-rounder which is 20 picks later than they started the night with, but now they have three third-rounders (73rd, 83rd, and 89th).

With the continued discussion about the depth of the offensive line prospects in this year's draft, they now have an opportunity to add multiple players there with five picks in the first 90.

The deal with the Browns leaves them with nine overall picks.
