2019 Mock Draft Report 6.0: Calendar turns to April

It's April, and that means draft day is (sort of) within sight.

Multiple waves of free agency have come and gone, and the pro day circuit is all but complete.

So where does that leave the mock draft projections for Carolina's first-round pick at No. 16 overall? Let's take a look.

For the most part, it's more of the same.

Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell and Mississippi State defensive end Montez Sweat are constantly connected to Carolina.

Washington State offensive tackle Andre Dillard is a name we've seen surface before. NFL Network analyst Charles Davis mocked Dillard to the Panthers, writing, "The Panthers had to be eyeing Florida State edge rusher Brian Burns, but with Washington snatching him up (at No. 15), they opt to keep strengthening their O-line with this ace pass protector." As you can see, Burns was on the board for Carolina in Eric Edholm's mock over at Yahoo Sports.

The new name here is Kansas State offensive tackle Dalton Risner, a versatile, battle-tested prospect who could line up at multiple spots for an O-line.
