CHARLOTTE -- Bank of America Stadium and the City of Charlotte will welcome the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, hosting a Group C group round doubleheader – featuring the Mexican National Team, on July 15.

The game day kicks off at 6 p.m. ET when Cuba faces 2014 UNCAF Central American Cup runner-up Guatemala. At 8:30 p.m. ET, 2014 World Cup participant Mexico will meet Trinidad & Tobago to close out Group C play.

Tickets can be purchased at www.CONCACAF.com/Tickets.

Opened in the summer of 1996, Bank of America Stadium is located in uptown Charlotte, and a renovation project during the 2014 offseason incorporated state-of-the-art technology into the fan experience, all while maintaining the stadium's classic design and stadium-in-the-park feel. The stadium is home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers.

Bank of America Stadium has hosted a number of soccer matches, including a Mexican National Team tour international match against Iceland on March 24, 2010. This will be the second time CONCACAF will bring the Gold Cup to Charlotte after hosting two group matches, Costa Rica versus El Salvador and Cuba versus Mexico, in 2011 in front of almost 60,000 fans.

Taking place every two years, the Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of viewers across the region. Featuring the best players from the confederation, the tournament includes the region's current top 12 national teams.
