CHARLOTTE – A third Panthers rookie has signed his contract, in this case their third-round draft pick.

Cornerback Kevon Seymour made it official Tuesday, signing his rookie contract one day after second-round cornerback James Bradberry and seventh-round tight end Beau Sandland signed. First-round defensive end Vernon Butler and fifth-round cornerback Zack Sanchez are still to sign.

Worley, a 6-1, 202-pounder out of West Virginia, ranked seventh in the nation last season with six interceptions and picked off 10 passes while recording 21 passes defensed in three seasons with the Mountaineers. The Panthers traded up to select him with the 77th pick.
