CHARLOTTE – The 6,000-7,000 tickets available for the Panthers' divisional playoff game were gone in about three minutes. Tickets went on sale to the general public on Tuesday night through Ticketmaster.

"We are very thankful for the great support from Panthers fans we have had this year and throughout our franchise history," said Phil Youtsey, executive director of ticketing and sponsorship.

The 14-0 Panthers have already clinched a bye for the first week of the postseason. They'll host a winner of the Wild Card round on Jan. 16 or 17.

If the Panthers host the NFC Championship Game, the same number of tickets will be sold to the general public. Again, the first hour would be restricted to residents of North Carolina and South Carolina.

The NFL Divisional Playoff will be the Panthers' 136th consecutive home sellout.
