Gameday Info: Panthers vs. Cardinals

In accordance with NFL Best Practices, security will be heightened at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. Fans should expect to see an increase in security outside of entry gates. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will have a larger presence with more officers at the gates, on bike patrol, and patrons will see additional observation towers in the area.

Please note that the stadium gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the AFC Championship Game will be broadcast on the video boards. We encourage fans to arrive as early as possible in order to be in their seats by kickoff in order to help provide the strongest home field advantage possible.

GAMEDAY ENTERTAINMENT

Grammy Award-winning country group, Little Big Town, will perform the National Anthem and halftime show during Sunday's NFC Championship game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals at Bank of America Stadium.
The group, consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook, first entered the music scene more than 17 years ago with hits such as "Boondocks," "Bring It On Home," "Good As Gone" and Grammy-nominated single "Little White Church."


PARKING & DIRECTIONS

Fans with assigned parking will receive information and details that will be mailed with their season tickets. Other ticket holders will be responsible for their own parking arrangements. There are more than 30,000 parking spaces within a 10-15 minute walk of the stadium. Parking operators lease parking spaces on a game-by-game or seasonal basis near Bank of America Stadium.

I-85 from the South: Look for signs to exit at either Billy Graham Parkway, Freedom Drive, Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East) or I-77 South.

I-85 from the North: Look for signs to exit at either Sugar Creek Road, Graham Street, Statesville Avenue or I-77 South.

I-77 from the South: Look for signs to exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.

I-77 from the North: Look for signs to exit at either Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East), Fifth Street, Trade Street, Morehead Street or John Belk Freeway (I-277).

Wilkinson Boulevard (US 74) from the West: Follow signs for John Belk Freeway (I-277) and exit at either Carson Boulevard, College Street, South Boulevard or Brevard Street.

Independence Boulevard (US 74) from the East: Follow signs for John Belk Freeway (I-277) and exit at either Sixth Street, Fourth Street, Stonewall Street or South Boulevard.

Brookshire Freeway (I-277) from the West: Look for signs to exit at either I-77 South, Graham Street, Church Street or Brevard Street.

NC 49/US 29 from the Northeast: Follow Tryon Street to Church Street.

Airport: Follow Josh Birmingham Parkway 1.5 miles to Billy Graham Parkway South. Proceed on Billy Graham to I-77 North. Look for signs to exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.

Via Preferred Parking Service: Family oriented parking rules will be in force on Sunday.  As a result of the escalated occupancy, and subsequent activity in our locations before, during and after Stadium events, Preferred Parking Service is communicating that it will be actively enforcing its event parking rules. These include the following:  Attendant directed parking in certain locations, no speakers / amplified sound, or DJ's allowed; no RV's or generators allowed, no unauthorized vending and certain locations will close to entering traffic at game time. Please note that all locations always close 1-Hour after the conclusion of event.


STADIUM POLICIES

NFL Clear Bag Policy: Bags that are clear and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted inside Bank of America Stadium. Small bags and clutch purses that are not largers than 4.5" x 6.5 are also permitted inside the stadium. For more information, click here.

Security Procedures: Per the NFL's mandated enhanced security screening procedures, all patrons and their belongings will be searched upon entry into the stadium, and prohibited items may be confiscated. Security screening includes hand-held metal-detecting wands and/or pat-downs. For more information,click here.

Free Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the stadium to patrons in the upper and lower seating bowls, club level, suites, concession areas and concourses. To connect to the network, do the following:

  1. Turn on the Wi-Fi on your wireless device and connect to the "PanthersWifi" network
  2. Go to your device's internet browser to bring up the AT&T Wi-Fi landing page
  3. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions and click the "get connected" button

Gameday Giveaway: Fans in attendance will receive a Carolina Panthers rally bandana.

Panthers FanCam, Presented by Academy Sports Outdoors: We are capturing every single fan at Sunday's playoff game in the Panthers FanCam! The FanCam is a super high-res crowd photo and will be captured during the first half of the game, allowing fans to Fans explore every inch of the field and stands. Those lucky enough to attend can zoom and tag themselves and share their view with friends.

First Time Visitors: Fans attending Bank of America Stadium for their first Panthers game should visit any guest relations booth to receive a "first visit" button. Fans can also request a certificate commemorating their first game, this will be mailed out the following week.

Designated Driver: The Carolina Panthers and Anheuser-Busch have teamed up to implement the Good Sport program to thank fans who respect the rights of others, drink responsibly and serve as a designated driver at home games. Fans may sign up for the program at the Good Sport designated driver booths across from sections 123 and 129 on the 100 level and 526 on the 500 level. Those who volunteer to be a designated driver have a chance to win Panthers merchandise and other prizes. Winners will be announced during the game.

Free Panthers Shirts from GMC Buick: Pick up your FREE Panthers Division Champs t-shirts at any Buick GMC display located near the stadium entrances, while supplies last.

Time to Roar: As game time approaches get ready to ROAR and create the best home field advantage in the NFL!  At one hour and again at 30 minutes prior to kickoff you will hear a siren followed by the Panthers growl – signaling it is time for you to get inside the stadium!  It will be the same siren that the players hear as they exit the Locker Room.  With the best fans in the NFL, don't miss any of the action as we start the regular season!

Panthers Lair: (Located on the corner of Morehead St. and Mint St.) Come out to Panthers Lair on Sunday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Enjoy performances by the PurrCussion drum line, autograph signing from the Carolina Panthers TopCats and appearances by Sir Purr! Panthers Lair is also featuring the brand new CPI RedZone Read football toss and the 107.9 The Link Panther Pride poster station. The area is open to the public with Food Truck options and a DJ!

CANCELLED Panthers in the Park: (Located at Romare Bearden Park, 300 S. Church St., Charlotte, NC 28202) Calling all kids and families on Panthers home game days!  Be sure to visit Panthers in the Park presented by Carolinas HealthCare System, including the Fuel Up to Play 60 Kids Combine at uptown's Bearden Park before each Panthers home game.  The Fuel Up to Play 60 Kids Combine features a park full of super-fun, kid-style NFL Combine activity stations plus the new Desktop Football Pavilion! Enjoy appearances by Sir Purr, the TopCats and PurrCussion drum line.  It's fun and free!  Panthers in the Park will be open from 4:00pm – 6:00pm!
