Greg Olsen brings laughs to Friday's practice

CHARLOTTE – There are many things the Panthers miss when Greg Olsen isn't out there: his sure-handedness, his precise route-running, his sense of humor.

Well, the tight end's sense of humor isn't going anywhere despite his broken foot.

Olsen visited practice on Friday – his first time catching up with coaches and teammates since undergoing foot surgery – and it wasn't long before he had them cracking up.

"It was hilarious. You know him and his wit," head coach Ron Rivera said. "He couldn't help himself. As soon as they threw the ball to Ed (Dickson) the first thing he says is, 'Oh, that play wasn't in there for me!'

"It was good to see him. He's doing well."
