Who's going to win?

Each week in the NFL, fans and media members alike share their opinions and make their game picks.

This year, Panthers.com is showing you what Madden 18 has to say. This week, the Panthers close out the regular season by visiting the Atlanta Falcons. Carolina controlled the first half but couldn't put Atlanta away, and the Falcons rallied to a 27-24 victory.

Quarterback Cam Newton, playing in his hometown, threw three touchdown passes before halftime to quieten the crowd. A first-quarter connection with wide receiver Devin Funchess, then second-quarter strikes to running back Christian McCaffrey and wideout Brenton Bersin allowed the Panthers to forge a 21-9 halftime lead.

But Newton threw one to the other team in the third quarter, and it turned the game. With the offense backed up near its own goal line, safety Keanu Neal picked off Newton and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown. The teams traded field goals in the fourth quarter, but then Matt Ryan's lone touchdown pass of the game – a 17-yarder to tight end Austin Hooper – gave the Falcons their lone lead and the only one that mattered.

Ryan was sacked twice by Mario Addison and picked off by Mike Adams, but Devonta Freeman's 104-day on the ground helped keep the Falcons come back.
