Who's going to win?

Each week in the NFL, fans and media members alike share their opinions and make their game picks.

This year, Panthers.com is showing you what Madden 18 has to say. This week, the Panthers head to Detroit to take on a surging Lions team. Carolina led a defensive struggle into the fourth quarter but couldn't hang on in a 14-10 loss.

The Panthers did all their scoring in the first half and it looked like it might be enough, but Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with wide receiver Golden Tate for a 6-yard score midway through the fourth quarter that held up.

Detroit opened the scoring when running back Ameer Abdulah crashed in from a yard out in the second quarter, but the Panthers responded. Graham Gano banged through a 38-yard field goal, then before half quarterback Cam Newton hooked up with tight end Ed Dickson for a 12-yard touchdown.

Dickson paced the Panthers on a quiet day for the offense with six catches for 57 yards, and defensive tackles Kawann Short and Star Lotulelei each recorded a sack on a good day for the defense aside from the bitter end.
