Who's going to win?

Each week in the NFL, fans and media members alike share their opinions and make their game picks.

This year, Panthers.com is showing you what Madden 17 has to say. This week, the Panthers return from their bye week by hosting the Arizona Cardinals in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship. The Panthers came out on top again, though in a much closer contest, pulling out a 27-23 triumph.

The Panthers didn't get off to the strong start they hoped for, but running back Jonathan Stewart spearheaded a strong finish. His 75-yard touchdown gallop in the third quarter gave Carolina its first lead at 21-20 - a lead the Panthers never relinquished. Two fourth-quarter field goals by Graham Gano extended the lead, and an interception by linebacker Thomas Davis to go with a game-high 11 tackles sealed the deal.

The Cardinals carved out a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter, but Carolina caught up when quarterback Cam Newton – who finished an efficient 14-for-18 for 176 yards – connected with tight end Greg Olsen for a 15-yard score. Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro boomed field goals of 54 and 55 yards on either side of halftime to put his team back ahead, but then Stewart scored on his long run.

Player of the Game: Stewart's output wasn't limited to his 75-yarder. While the Panthers defense held David Johnson to 69 rushing yards, Stewart piled up 193 yards on 24 carries to control the pace of play.
