Mock Draft Report 2.0

This is considered a very deep defensive draft, and that's reflected in the second installment of our Mock Draft Report.

Defensive ends Taco Charlton and Derek Barnett are featured, and both possess the size and strength to be disruptive, three-down players at the next level. With Charles Johnson, Mario Addison and Wes Horton all set to become free agents, the defensive end spot might very well need an infusion of talent.

Three defensive backs, including safety Jamal Adams, are featured this week. Adams is a prototypical strong safety who many consider to be a top-five talent.

It's surprising to see cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey and Marshon Lattimore mocked to Carolina, especially after James Bradberry and Daryl Worley showed such promise as rookies last season. But WalterFootball and USA Today looked past that and identified cornerback as a pressing need for the Panthers.

The one offensive player featured in this report is running back Leonard Fournette, who has been far and away the most popular projection for Carolina's first-round pick thus far.
