Mock Draft Report 6.0

Add a brand-new batch of names to some of the most popular positions associated with the Panthers' first-round pick during mock draft season.

A sixth defensive end is featured in the Mock Draft Report series this week – the most mock targets at any position, with the inclusion of Michigan State product Shilique Calhoun. Not trailing far behind is offensive tackle, where a fifth name is mentioned this week, and it's another Spartan – Jack Conklin. The contrast here is that most mockers believe Conklin will be gone by the time the Panthers pick at No. 30, while everyone seems to believe Calhoun will still be on the board.

We double up at safety this week, with Keanu Neal of Florida and Justin Simmons of Boston College mocked to Carolina. Mock Draft Report has now featured four safeties to go with four cornerbacks.

A third wide receiver is mocked to Carolina this week in the form of Corey Coleman of Baylor, while former NFL general manager Charley Casserly adds a second defensive tackle into the discussion with Kenny Clark of UCLA.
