CHARLOTTE – The Panthers have signed cornerback Tyler Patmon to the practice squad after releasing practice squad defensive tackle Bruce Gaston.

Patmon was with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 and 2015, playing 22 games and recording 21 tackles, seven passes defensed and his first career interception.

Patmon was most recently on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad. He was with the Tennessee Titans throughout the 2016 preseason before being waived prior to the start of the regular season.

The 5-10, 185-pound corner was an undrafted rookie coming out of Oklahoma State in 2014.
