CHARLOTTE – With kicker Graham Gano dealing with knee soreness, the Panthers added Roberto Aguayo to the practice squad in place of wide receiver Austin Duke.

The division rival Buccaneers – Carolina's next opponent – traded up to select Aguayo out of Florida State in the second round of the 2016 draft. He converted 22-of-31 field goal attempts and missed two extra points during a tumultuous rookie season.

Tampa Bay released Aguayo during his second training camp. He spent the rest of the preseason with the Bears and was released before the start of the regular season.
