After suffering defeat in Super Bowl 50, the Panthers will have the 30th overall choice in the 2016 NFL Draft on April 28.

The New England Patriots were stripped of their first-round draft choice, so the Denver Broncos' selection with the 31st pick will conclude the first round.

The Panthers have never picked 30th before. Carolina currently has six selections in the seven-round draft. The team gave up its sixth-round pick in a midseason trade with the Chicago Bears for defensive end Jared Allen.

Below is a list of players taken with the 30th pick since 2010.

2015: CB Damarious Randall to Packers

2014: S Jimmie Ward to 49ers

2013: LB Alec Ogletree to Rams

2012: WR A.J. Jenkins to 49ers

2011: DE Muhammad Wilkerson to Jets

2010: RB Jahvid Best to Lions
