Cam Newton
After passing for 3,869 passing yards and 19 touchdowns in his second season while at the same time leading the Panthers in rushing with 742 yards, Newton enters year three as the team's dynamic starter under center. ... Set an NFL record for the most passing yards in a player's first two seasons with 7,920, surpassing the previous mark of 7,874 by Peyton Manning. ... Derek Anderson
Anderson returns for a third season as the backup quarterback in Carolina after re-signing as an unrestricted free agent this offseason. ... Anderson spent most of his career with the Cleveland Browns and made the Pro Bowl in 2007.

Jimmy Clausen

Colby Cameron
