  • In only 10 of Carolina's 67 snaps did the Panthers feature C.J. Anderson or Alex Armah, while Christian McCaffrey played 63 snaps. Last week, Anderson and Armah combined for 32 of the 67 snaps.
  • Newly signed left tackle Chris Clark played all 67 snaps after being signed to the team on Wednesday and not practicing with any team during the spring and summer. Tyler Larsen also played all 67 snaps at right guard in place of Trai Turner who was inactive, while Taylor Moton played every snap at right tackle after playing left tackle last week. The Panthers only allowed two sacks and rushed for 121 yards with the reshuffled offensive line.
  • Ian Thomas earned his first career start and played 64 of 67 offensive snaps at tight end in place of the injured Greg Olsen. Thomas made two receptions for 10 yards.
  • DJ Moore played 17 snaps on offense and 19 snaps on special teams, including as a punt and kickoff returner and as a gunner on punt coverage. Moore scored a 51-yard touchdown on his first career reception in the fourth quarter, becoming the fourth Panther to ever score a touchdown on his first career reception.

  • Rashaan Gaulden and Corn Elder played their first career snaps on defense, replacing Donte Jackson and Da'Norris Searcy who left the game with injury. Eight of Carolina's nine secondary players saw at least six defensive snaps.
  • David Mayo played 27 snaps at linebacker just a week after only playing 18. Captain Munnerlyn's corresponding nickel snaps decreased from 47 against Dallas to 36 against Atlanta.
  • Mario Addison and Wes Horton played a larger percentage of snaps in the defensive end rotation. They went up to 81 and 75 percent, respectively, from 58 and 67 percent last week.
  • Marquis Haynes earned his first career action on defense, playing 15 snaps.
