CHARLOTTE – Quarterback Cam Newton spread some holiday cheer around Charlotte during his third annual Santa Cam Surprise Sleigh on Tuesday.

Newton donated funds to the Barringer Academic Center to help the school's backpack program. He also made donations to the Silver Mount Emergency Food Pantry and the Bethlehem Center, which supports low-income children. Newton later provided dinner for families from A Child's Place, which works to erase the impact of homelessness on children, and took kids out for a shopping spree.
