CHARLOTTE – Linebacker Luke Kuechly has been voted to yet another Pro Bowl. And running back Christian McCaffrey is going to his first of what should be many.

The NFL revealed the 2020 Pro Bowl rosters Tuesday night, and Kuechly and McCaffrey are Carolina's representatives.

Many felt McCaffrey was deserving of a Pro Bowl nod last season, but he was left out due to a stacked NFC running back group. This year, McCaffrey was a shoo-in.

The third-year running back, who finished No. 5 overall in fan voting, has compiled a league-leading 2,121 scrimmage yards and 18 total touchdowns. He's had six games with at least 175 scrimmage yards, most in the NFL.

With two games left, McCaffrey is closing in on becoming just the third member of the 1,000-1,000 club. He's already rushed for 1,307 yards and needs 186 receiving yards to hit 1,000. McCaffrey's 94 receptions are the most by an NFL running back this season, and rank third in the NFL overall.

The other NFC running backs joining McCaffrey are Minnesota's Dalvin Cook and Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott.

Kuechly has been voted to seven straight Pro Bowls. He currently ranks fourth in the NFL with 131 tackles and has recorded two interceptions with 11 passes defensed.

Since his rookie year in 2012, Kuechly leads the NFL in total tackles (1,079) and takeaways (26). Last week he passed former teammate Thomas Davis to become the leading tackler in franchise history.
