Career Highlights: After taking over a team that went winless in 2007, Reid led Goldsboro to an 8-3-1 record and the semifinals of the North Carolina 2A Playoffs in 2008. Building on that success, the Cougars won the Carolina Conference in 2009 and made their second consecutive playoff appearance.

Community Service: Reid helped establish a Pop Warner football team in Goldsboro by donating his coaching experience, time, resources and facilities to ensure a successful inaugural season.

Quote: "Many of my kids are like me - they come from single parent homes, and there is no father figure. So I feel it's my duty to fill that void and be that father figure that they might not have at home."
