CHARLOTTE — The Panthers brought back another one of their own free agents, who played some of his best football last season.

The team agreed to terms on a one-year deal with safety Nick Scott.

The Carolina Panthers face the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2025 at Bank of American Stadium in Charlotte, NC.

Scott was second on the team with a career-high 111 tackles last year.

He started all 17 games, and also had a key interception against the Rams to snap quarterback Matt Stafford's streak in the November win here.

His PFF grade of 67.8 ranked 36th among the 98 graded safeties last year, putting him in the upper third of the league.

Scott originally joined the Panthers in 2024 after a year in Cincinnati, but began with the Rams, where he worked with the Panthers defensive coaching staff.
