Recap: Santa Cam's Surprise Sleigh

Quarterback Cam Newton once again spread holiday cheer throughout the city of Charlotte with his foundation's "Santa Cam's Surpise Sliegh" event on Tuesday.

Here is a rundown of Santa Cam's special day:

Sedgefield Middle School: Total gift of $15,750 to support and acknowledge teachers and school staff for their worthwhile investment in youth.

Senior surprise at Second Harvest Food Bank: $25,000 donation to the "Second Helping" program, as well as Panthers fleece blankets to 200 homebound seniors.

Mobile pantry at Devonshire Elementary: $25,0000 donation to the SHFBM School-Based Mobile Pantry Program.

Cooking with Cam at Thomasboro Academy: 25 needy families surprised with a cooking demonstration by Cam and Chef Monica (a Food Lion chef) and also given a $500 Food Lion gift card.
