Sky high after Air Force visit

Defensive end Mario Addison, offensive tackle Nate Chandler, center Brian Folkerts, running back Fozzy Whittaker and kicker Graham Gano were amazed by what they experienced at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

The players went airborne and were able to witness an in-flight refueling mission up close.

"That was probably the coolest thing I've ever done in my life," Gano said. "No exaggeration at all."

The Panthers also enjoyed a tour of the base and signed autographs for the airmen and their families.

"They're definitely our heroes," Folkerts said. "To get to experience what they do on a daily basis is incredible."

The players shared their memorable day with fans on social media and some of their posts are featured below.
