Coaching staff returns to work at Bank of America Stadium

Matt Rhule in temporary office

CHARLOTTE – After spending most of the offseason working from home, head coach Matt Rhule and his staff are finally back at Bank of America Stadium.

The coaches are now going about their new daily routine, which includes a COVID-19 test before they enter the building. Once inside, they're working out of temporary offices on the Club Level.

According to the most recent plans — which are subject to change —  rookies are expected to be in the building for the first time on Saturday for physicals. Quarterbacks and returning injured players could be in for physicals as soon as Monday. The rest of the veterans are set to report for their first day of COVID-19 testing on Tuesday. The earliest they would take physicals is Aug. 1.
