Week 1 Wednesday Injury Report: Cam Newton not listed

CHARLOTTE - The Panthers released the first injury report of the regular season on Wednesday, ahead of Sunday's game against Los Angeles.

Quarterback Cam Newton does not even appear on the report, much to the delight of head coach Ron Rivera and Panthers fans everywhere.

Linebacker/defensive end Bruce Irvin did not participate in practice with a hamstring injury. He worked on the side and Rivera said he's continuing to rehab.

Rookie offensive Tackle Greg Little also did not participate in practice. He left the New England preseason game with a concussion and has not practiced since.
