Week 16 Final Injury Report: DJ Moore questionable for Sunday against Tampa Bay

InjuryReport-(2)_week-16

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers will have to wait to see the status of wide receiver DJ Moore.

Moore (hamstring) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, and he's listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, so having him do at least a portion of work is at least a sign of some progress.

Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said earlier this week that Moore would be a game-time decision.

Rookie defensive tackle Phil Hoskins did not practice Friday, and he's listed as questionable. He left Thursday's practice with a back injury.

If he can't go, the Panthers will be thin in the middle of the defensive line, since defensive tackle Derrick Brown remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list. That leaves DaQuan Jones and Bravvion Roy at the position, though they use defensive ends Yetur Gross-Matos and Morgan Fox inside.

Veteran left tackle Cameron Erving (calf) was limited Friday, and he's listed as questionable as well. Rookie Brady Christensen has worked with the first team there in practice this week. Since Sam Tecklenburg will start at center this week (Pat Elflein remains on the COVID-19 list) , it will mark the 11th different group of starting linemen they've used in 15 games.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice, and he has no game status on the report.
